We had a fantastic new year getaway in the Scottish countryside. The hotel was situated in a stunning location with breathtaking views of the Loch. The extensive grounds were perfect for long walks and exploration. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. We particularly enjoyed the daily changing menu options, ensuring we had a variety of choices. The cozy lounge area and comfortable beds made our stay even more enjoyable.

We encountered a few issues during our stay. The upkeep of the hotel could have been better, with some furniture and fittings in need of repair.

Felt completely cut off from the rest of the world - a beautiful and relaxing trip away. The hotel was spectacular and beautifully furnished. The views were amazing. The staff were very approachable and friendly.

Being 2 students the price was rather dear, but that is to be expected given the quality of the hotel.

The hotel was beautiful, staff friendly and food very good.

It could do with an indoor swimming pool or hot tub to use when the weather outside isn't the best.

The hotel is situated at the shores of Loch Awe, offering a stunning and peaceful location. Guests can enjoy the beautiful surrounding scenery, including the well-kept gardens and the refreshing lakeside. The staff are helpful and friendly, providing good service during breakfast and dinner.

The hotel's decor and facilities are in need of updating and renovation.

Excellent staff and such a beautiful location.

It was quite remote, once you're in you're in as there's a 3 mile single track road to the nearest very small village.

We had a wonderful relaxing weekend staying in Rose Cottage within the grounds of Ardanaiseig Hotel. It was well equipted and very cosy. The grounds/scenery are/is beautiful and the gentleman who greeted us was very welcoming and professional. We will cetrainly be back!

It certainly would not put us off re-visiting time and time again but it was dissapointing that we could not take our dog in to the public rooms of the hotel. This was explained to us on booking and agin on checking in and I respect that other guests might not like dogs but if they are well behaved and trained and kept on a lead then as our is then it would have been nice to have walked down to the hotel in the evening for a little gin and tonic.

Lovely old house and grounds. Fantastic ambience. Friendly and welcoming staff. Flexible dining options. Great views over the loch. Beautiful gardens. Excellent food. Spacious and well-furnished room with a huge bath.

Could not be improved in any way.

Fantastic hotel, very comfortable, luxurious and very friendly staff.

Food choices- the only choice for dinner is a 5 course menu which is very pricey Managed to reduce this to 2 courses but food portions were very small and still very pricey.

I recently stayed at a stunning hotel in Scotland for peace and quiet. The location by Loch Awe was absolutely beautiful, with stunning walks and a charming character. The food was delicious and well-presented. The staff went above and beyond by setting up a separate room for us and our dog, which was a nice touch. The hotel is surrounded by breathtaking old trees, some over 200 years old, thanks to the talented gardener, Davie. Chris, the barkeeper, made us feel exceptionally welcome and shared his deep knowledge of whisky and tea.

I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We got great value for our money and the room was absolutely stunning. The location of the hotel was breathtaking, right on the banks of the Loch, and the staff treated us like royalty.

The morning meal could have been improved with more variety and options.

I got great value for my money at the hotel. The room was amazing, with all the luxuries I expected. The location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful nature and a lovely Loch. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help.

For breakfast choices, it would have been better to have a bit more variety.

Ardanaiseig was a truly enchanting experience. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the stunning property and its immaculate grounds. The attention to detail, such as the fairy trail and enchanted wood trails, made for a magical stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming, adding to the warm atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious and the breathtaking view only enhanced the dining experience. I highly recommend Ardanaiseig for a memorable and delightful getaway.

Specific Situation: The room I stayed in, Etive, was beautiful. Although there were some minor issues, like stained shower curtains, it didn't overshadow the overall enjoyment of the stay.

We had an amazing stay at this remote and peaceful location. The beautiful house and grounds were perfect for exploring. The service provided by David exceeded our expectations. The warm welcome from Gary and the rest of the staff added to our enjoyable experience. The rooms were stunning and the food was delicious. The hotel's isolated location on the Loch provided a fantastic setting. The staff were courteous and attentive without being intrusive. a wonderful stay that we would highly recommend.

My stay at the hotel was incredible. Ardanaiseig has a charming, otherworldly vibe that transports you to another time. The location is idyllic, offering unbeatable views and tranquility. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made me feel well-catered for. The food was excellent, with carefully planned portions. I highly recommend this special, off-the-beaten-track gem.
